Running shoe finder

A clearer way to choose your next pair.

Stride Choice is a running shoe finder and comparison guide maintained by Kyle Suhendra. It brings exact-model information together so you can make a useful shortlist.

Who makes this guide

Kyle Suhendra maintains the catalog, tools and published content. Written summaries and comparisons are published under Stride Select. The catalog draws on linked manufacturer information and published reviews; its written summaries do not represent first-hand testing by Stride Choice.

Kyle Runs videos are attributed to their YouTube channel and linked beside each embed. A video is the creator’s own review, separate from our written catalog summaries.

Check the exact shoe, then the source

Official brand pages establish the model and version, intended use and manufacturer-listed specifications. Brand or retailer pages support dated price and purchase links. Independent testing and reviewer impressions inform editorial descriptions where the exact version can be verified.

Manufacturer figures, measured lab results and subjective impressions answer different questions. Our specification table uses brand-listed figures. An unknown field stays unverified; information from a similar name or older version is not a substitute.

What the recommendation means

The finder checks your selected requirements against recorded information, then orders the eligible shoes using your preferences. Missing information does not satisfy a requirement. Category and ride labels are editorial interpretations, not lab scores or fit probabilities.

Any editorial preference is labeled in the result explanation. A recommendation cannot establish personal fit: use the exact range’s size chart and try on your shortlist.

Dates describe what was checked

Shoe profiles show when source information and price snapshots were checked. Editorial guides show when their text was updated. Updating a guide does not mean every shoe price was rechecked. Sizes, colorways, retailer terms and stock can change after the recorded date.

Use the source link for the current product details and price. When important sources disagree or a fact cannot be confirmed, the difference or missing information should remain visible.

Community opinions and private notes

Runner ratings are anonymous thumbs-up and thumbs-down votes, not verified-purchase reviews or five-star scores. A browser cookie remembers a vote; clearing cookies or using another browser can create a separate voting identity.

Saved shoes, notes, shopping preferences, fit checks and rotation plans stay in your browser. There is no account sync. Shared comparison links include shoe IDs, never private notes.

Buying happens with the retailer

Stride Choice helps you compare and links to product pages. Retailers handle purchases, availability and returns. The buying checklist records your preferences; it does not reserve a size or change the retailer’s listing.
